A Double-Blind, Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Phase 2 Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of Oral GKT137831 in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Albuminuria
Harold Hamm Diabetes Center is researching patients with type 2 diabetes and kidney disease. The study evaluates the effect of a new medication which may protect your kidneys from the effect of diabetes. In addition to your current treatments, you will be asked to take the study medication (oral capsules) every day for 3 months at home and to visit the clinical team several times for medical checkups.
To participate, you must:
- Be between 18 and 80 years of age
- Have type 2 diabetes
- Have kidney disease
- And meet the other entry requirements
