HIV and Type 2 Diabetes Clinical Trial: A Diabetic Retinopathy Study

Harold Hamm Diabetes Center is looking for volunteers to participate in a research study evaluating the safety of an approved drug in people diagnosed with HIV, type 2 diabetes, and abdominal lipohypertrophy.

You might be eligible for this study if you:

  • Are between 18 and 80 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with HIV and type 2 diabetes
  • Have an HbA1c, a test that measures the average amount of sugar in your blood, between 6.0 and 12.0%
  • Have excess belly fat (lipohypertrophy)

Qualified participants will receive study-related medication, medical care, and laboratory work at no cost.
