Harold Hamm Diabetes Center’s fellowship program is designed to provide comprehensive training in the pathophysiology, evaluation, diagnosis and management of the broad spectrum of endocrine diseases and diabetes. There is a strong emphasis on research and scholarly activity. The adult fellowship in Oklahoma City has six Residency Review Committee (RRC)-approved positions for training physicians in endocrinology. The Harold Hamm adult fellowship program is two years resulting in three new board-eligible diabetologists-endocrinologists each year.
The adolescent program also has six RCC-approved positions for physicians providing opportunities to experience clinical and basic research during the fellowship education. Both programs prepare and qualify trainees for subspecialty Board Certification and for successful academic and/or clinical careers in endocrinology.
