Beyond the Basics is designed for nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and other health professionals who participate in the care, education or management of persons with diabetes. A one-day program led by certified diabetes educators, Beyond the Basics promotes excellence in care and conveys up-to-date best practice strategies and information integral to the effective management of diabetes.
CE/CNE/ACPE credit for this program has been requested from the accreditors and is pending approval. See 2013 details and course objectives

ATTENDEE CANCELLATION POLICY: A refund, less $25 administrative costs, will be made upon written request on or before May 9, 2013; no refunds after May 9, 2013.
There is limited space available for exhibitors at Beyond the Basics 2014. The exhibit hall is ideally located between the session room and dining room. Exhibit table locations will be assigned in the order registrations are received, with prime locations going first. Exhibitor fee includes one 8-foot table with drape, 2 chairs, wastebasket, refreshments and lunch for up to 2 people, free on-site parking, and exhibitor recognition on-screen in the session room. Electrical outlets are available; bring an extension cord and keep cords away from foot traffic. Limit one table per exhibitor. Please confine your display to the table and 1-2 banner stands; the exhibit area does not lend itself to larger, trade-show-style displays. The venue opens at 6 a.m. Friday, May 16. Exhibits may be set up and taken down anytime the day of the program; however, the exhibit area is public and security is not provided.
