COURSE DESCRIPTION

Diabetes Update is designed for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians and other health care providers with a diverse case mix that includes patients with diabetes. Through case studies and lectures, the program promotes excellence in care and conveys up-to-date best practice strategies and information integral to the effective management of diabetes.

This fast-paced course employs an audience-response system whereby speakers interact with participants, reinforcing their retention of key learning objectives.

The first rate listed below is for early registration, which applies through Friday, Oct. 17. Regular registration rates (the second ones given) apply from Oct. 18 through the day of the event, Oct. 31. Walk-up registration will be available, although seating may be limited.

Employees and students must provide ID numbers and bring ID to event.

15% GROUP DISCOUNT: Five or more participants from the same organization/employer may register for $166 each (on or before Oct. 17) or $208 each (Oct. 18-31). All group members must register at the same time. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively. Group discount not available to seniors, OU employees, fellows, residents or students.

ATTENDEE CANCELATION POLICY: A full refund, less $25 administrative costs, will be made upon written request prior to Oct. 24, 2014; no refunds after Oct. 24, 2014.

EXHIBITOR PARTICIPATION

There is limited space available for exhibitors at Diabetes Update 2014. Exhibit table locations will be assigned in the order registrations are received, with prime locations going first. Exhibitor fee includes one 6- to 8-foot draped and skirted table, refreshments and lunch for up to two people. If you bring display items, please confine your materials to a total width of 8 feet. Limit one table per exhibitor. Electricity is available for a small surcharge. The venue opens at 6:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Exhibits may be set up and taken down anytime the day of the program; however, the exhibit area is a public hallway, and security is not provided.
